I offer clinical supervision and clinical case consultation for mental health clinicians and graduate-level mental health students who want to deepen their clinical knowledge, strengthen their skills, and develop a more thoughtful approach to patient care.
My supervision and consultation are grounded in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. Together, we will consider the full clinical picture: the patient’s presenting concerns, relational patterns, developmental history, and the conscious and unconscious dynamics that may be shaping the treatment.
Supervision and Consultation
This work is for clinicians and students who are interested in moving beyond symptom-focused treatment and developing a deeper understanding of their patients’ internal worlds.
We may explore:
Case formulation through a psychoanalytic lens
The therapeutic relationship, including transference and countertransference
Relational and attachment patterns
Clinical impasses and difficult treatment dynamics
Developing greater confidence, curiosity, and clinical judgment
The emotional impact of clinical work on the therapist
I provide clinical supervision to clinicians located in New York and New Jersey. I also offer clinical case consultation to clinicians and graduate-level students located anywhere.
Areas of Focus
I have particular experience supervising and consulting with clinicians who work with eating disorders, personality patterns, sense of self and identity concerns, relational and attachment trauma, anxiety, depression, and complex emotional or relationship concerns.
My approach is collaborative, reflective, and direct. I aim to create a space where clinicians can think openly about their work, ask difficult questions, and develop a stronger sense of themselves as practitioners.
