Full Time Psychotherapist

Looking for a full time psychotherapist to join our group practice. We have one office location, in Chelsea/Flatiron and this position would be a hybrid of virtual and in-person work seeing patients, or fully remote, depending on your location. Requirements include being fully licensed in the State of New York with a LMSW license, and experience conducting individual psychotherapy and previous experience working with the Eating Disorder population, is a must. Preferable experience with psychodynamic psychotherapy, or the openness to work in a psychodynamic psychotherapy framework is required.

Compensation is paid out biweekly.

• Candidates must be professional, independent, self-directive, organized, driven, responsible, caring,  communicative and collaborative. Candidates will be employee status.

• Weekly clinical individual supervision with Pamela Polizzi, LCSW & hours can be used towards NYS LCSW licensure.

Requirements are:

• Current State of New York license as a LMSW.

• Willing to work 15 hours a week to start with the expectation to go up to 32-35 hours per week for full time status as new referrals come into the group practice.

• Prior experience conducting long term individual psychotherapy and working with the Eating Disorder population, is required.

•  Experience with diagnosis of anxiety, depressive disorders, Eating Disorders and personality disorders, is a must.

• Ability to work independently/remotely.

• Weekly individual clinical supervision.

Required education:

• Master's Degree in Social Work.
